Good season..Redshirt year is over

I would like to first shout out the squad as we fought our way into the ncaa tourney and went up against a tough Florida team. They got us by a big margin but we played as hard as we could. It hurt watching the guys go down like that, we are better than that but thing happen. I am now excited for the upcoming season as i am really apart of the team. Not being apart of the group was tough for me this year. Being a redshirt means you cant travel, cant play, basically its not fun. Its spring break so im out here in sacramento having fun but as soon as I get back to SB its time for business. I got about 7 months until things get real, and i wanna be more than prepared. Its been fun watching the team, im going to miss the seniors man they were all good teammates and good people. Cant wait to welcome in the incoming freshmans, its going to be fun going at the youngsters, lol. Shoutout to taran brown for being gatorade player of the year in wyoming. And to jaime u gonna be alright man keep your head up your strong you will get through this. Until next season fans, much love......

Back to back

Man we pulled it off..after a long and underacheiving season they out together the best 3 game stretch all year. It was very fun to watch the team play together making extra passes, extra effort on the defensive end, and most importantly playing with a chip on their shoulder. I enjoyed watching good basketball all weekend and we were definately one of the better teams ive watched. Ive challenged the guys alot on and off the floor and they responded well. I wanna say a special shout out to jaime and jon they really stepped their games up this weekend. The defesnive effort of jj on casper ware was huge. We not only swept 3 games in 3 days but those same teams handled us pretty well in the conf season.it was alot different this year not really being apart of a team. Being a redshirt is tough but the team has definately helped keep my spirits up. They made me proud. Now its gonna be even better next year when we 3 peat. I had alot of fun on the trip too riding down with tyler aka shitbrick. Memories ahaha is all I can say. It was also good meeting alot of alumni and boosters who are excited to see me play next year. I will do my best not to let you guys down or fall short of another championship. I believe we have the talent here and coming in for the next few years to make big west championships a tradition here at ucsb. I cant wait to see our seed and where we play. Look forward to watching the game on tv. Lets go gauchos lets play hard whoever we play wherever we play.
